Part I. A Cicada Shell: The Easy Way to Write Haiku

This presentation is an introduction to the three master poets of Japanese haiku: Basho, Buson, and Issa. Anyone who is interested in haiku is welcome to join us. One will learn to appreciate the different temperaments of these haiku poets and the variety of their subjects. This is Part 1 of a three-part series on how to write haiku. Participants can join us for one or all the parts of this series. One does not have to be a writer; just someone who enjoys the natural world around us.
